The U.S. Consular Agency in Puerto Plata provides all U.S. Citizen Services with the exception of adults 18 and over applying for their first passport, to American Citizens residing in or visiting the northern Dominican Republic, including the cities of Santiago, Sosua, Cabarete, Las Terrenas, Samana and any of the cities along the North Coast. These services include emergency assistance, notarials; applications for U.S. passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad.
