Before scheduling an appointment, ensure you are eligible to transmit U.S. citizenship, review the CRBA Checklist (PDF, 180 KB), and gather all required documents and evidence.

Applicants who fail to bring all required documents and evidence on the day of the appointment may need to schedule a new appointment.

Emergency CRBA appointments are available for immediate, emergency travel situations, such as a medical emergency for the applying child or parent. Please use our CRBA Portal to schedule an appointment.
