All U.S. citizens in the Dominican Republic are invited to participate in a virtual Town Hall live chat with U.S. Consul General William Swaney on Tuesday, March 30th at 3:00 p.m.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Embassy in Santo Domingo has continued to assist thousands of U.S. citizens and their families. The safety and security of U.S. citizens overseas is and will always be one of our top priorities.
Consul General Swaney will provide an update on routine and emergency services available to U.S. citizens at this time. CG Swaney will also discuss COVID-19 travel and testing requirements for travel to the U.S., Dominican Republic government requirements, and information on stimulus checks.
The town hall will be streamed live on Zoom using the following ID: 160 675 1979. We encourage U.S. citizens in the Dominican Republic to ask questions during the chat, as they will be answered in real time.
For those who are not able to join the live chat, the video will be recorded and posted on the Embassy’s YouTube account.
