Omitting information on your visa application may be detrimental

We encourage applicants to exercise caution with “gestores” who advise you during your visa application process, especially if they suggest omitting any information on your form. This information is not only available to consular officers by other means, but an omission of material facts may be interpreted as an intent to commit fraud in your application.

Honesty is always the best policy, the consular officer will take this into consideration, especially when determining whether you qualify for a waiver of ineligibility.

Don’t be fooled, receive your information from official sources.

To report visa, passport, or immigration fraud, please write to fraud@state.gov
