Sometimes the medical results of immigrant visa cases are not ready before the appointment date, so appointments are often canceled to be rescheduled later.
When this happens, it is recommended that the immigrant visa applicant continue to follow up on their exams through the panel of physicians they selected. Once the panel physician informs them that their results have already been uploaded to the case through the platform https://ceac.state.gov, or, if it is a fiancé visa, they have been handed to the applicants, the Immigrant Visa Unit proceeds to schedule the next appointment available.
One way to help schedule this appointment as soon as possible is by notifying us, through support-dominicanrepublic@ustraveldocs.com, that the panel physician has already informed you that they have uploaded the medical exam.
