The American Citizen Services unit at the U.S. Embassy in Santo Domingo now accepts ten-year passport renewal applications for eligible adults by mail. You can renew your passport at any Domex location today! You may renew your passport by mail if your ten-year passport is undamaged, issued when you were 16 years of age or older, issued within the last 15 years, and issued in your current name (or you have changed your name since your passport was issued and can submit legal documentation to prove this change). These must all be true for you to renew by mail. Details and instructions can be found online at https://do.usembassy.gov/passport-renewal-by-mail/. Visit our website https://do.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/passports/ for more information on passport renewals, replacing a lost or stolen passport, or if you need to make an emergency passport appointment.
