Avoid delays! Make sure you have all the required documents for your U.S. citizenship consular service. The following steps may prevent your case from requiring administrative processing: We strongly remind you that electronic devices, including cell phones, are not allowed in the Embassy. Therefore, if your processing requires photographs (family, as evidence of relationship, or of a minor, also known as ‘transition photos’) we ask that you please print your photos and bring them with you on the day of your interview. In addition, if you still have all of your previous passports in your possession, we suggest that you bring them to your consular appointment, as they may help the consular officer gather pertinent information in support of your case.
