What to do when the medical exam is not ready
Ask the Consul
November 27, 2023

Sometimes medical results for residency visa cases are not ready before the appointment date. Currently, applicants must attend their appointment anyway if the panel of physicians instructs this.

After the interview, it is recommended that the Immigrant visa applicant follows up on their exams through the panel of physicians they selected.

Once the panel informs you that your results have already been uploaded to the case through the platform https://ceac.state.gov, or, if it is a fiancé visa, they have been delivered to the applicant, you can notify us, through support-dominicanrepublic@ustraveldocs.com, and thus complete the application process.
