In order to make sure that your visa is processed as quickly as possible and to ensure that the U.S. embassy can give the best customer service possible on the day of your interview, please adhere to the following: If you have an upcoming Immigrant Visa Interview at the U.S. Embassy and you do not speak Spanish or English, you are required to bring an interpreter with you. The Immigrant Visa Section will not provide an interpreter. The interpreter should be a third party, not your petitioner. Remember – it is your responsibility to come prepared for your interview.
