Ambassador Acknowledges 9/11

“Today is the 14th anniversary of the terrorist attack on the United States.  We will continue to acknowledge this day, as not only were the citizens of the United States impacted by these horrific events but also citizens of virtually every country throughout the world.  In addition to the 2,605 U.S. Citizens who lost their lives that day an additional 372 men and women from 90 countries including 47 citizens of the Domincan Republic died.  Freedom and democracy are never to be taken for granted and it is through diligence and eternal vigilance with which we secure our liberty.” – Ambassador James.
