Immigrant Visas update
2 MINUTE READ
January 18, 2022

Due to COVID-19 related staffing shortages, and the continuing priority to keep immigrant visa applicants and their families safe and healthy, some immigrant visa interview appointments currently scheduled at the Embassy will be rescheduled.  Applicants whose appointments are postponed should monitor their email closely for a new Embassy interview appointment date.

Applicants who are scheduled for an interview who have tested positive for COVID-19, are feeling sick, or are exhibiting symptoms, such as coughing or a runny nose should contact the Embassy to be rescheduled once their symptoms have gone in order to avoid infecting or alarming other guests.  Applicants who appear ill will be denied entry into the Consular section.  Emergency non-immigrant visa appointments at the Embassy are not affected at this time.
